This is and 8th note triplet groove inspired by John Bonham. originally the kick drum only landed on 1 and 3 and the snare landed on 2 and 4. The groove was then made more colourful by adding a second bass drum in bar one and a third in the 2nd bar. The snare drum in bar one lands on 2 and 4 but there are ghost notes just before which are quite and then they make the snare on 2 and 4 sound more powerful because they are played at a higher velocity . In bar 2 the snare drum pattern is the same with an additional higher velocity snare drum to make the pattern end on a big powerful snare and then to go back to being a lot lower of a velocity when the pattern loops. The hi hat is very simple as it is 8th notes that are closed apart from Beat 1 in the 1st bar and Beats 1 and 3. the occasional open hi hats adds some colour to the groove.
